Where is the meeting-point?
Under each Service e.g. (Ski) there is a Meeting-point section. The meeting-point will be defined with the instructor.
How early should I book a private ski instructor?
In general the earlier, the better! Some periods or weeks could be booked out quickly. Depending on availability, short-notice bookings are also possible. Courses can be booked directly online.
Are parents welcome to stay with the child for the first lesson?
We do not recommend it. On the first day the parents should inform the instructor about possible allergies or health restrictions. After this conversation the parents should leave the child with the instructor and watch from the distance. Experience shows that the lessons work better if the parents are not nearby. It is also important to prepare the child for ski school and explain, what will be learned.
Is it possible for adults and children to book a course at the same time?
Yes. Children and adults can meet at the same meeting-point. Pick-up of the children occurs at the same place and children are always supervised until the parents pick them up!
Is it ok if we take a private lesson but have different skill levels?
Yes, this is possible but not recommended. Bear in mind that in this case the course will be adapted to the weakest member of the group.
Is the price different if I book 3 course days, but at the end decide to book another 2 days?
Yes, but only for full day lessons! This means, for a course duration of 5 consecutive FULL days you get a discount of about 10%.
Will I get my money back if I don't like the course and cancel the rest of my bookings?
In general, money is only refunded upon presentation of a doctor’s certificate (illness, injury). However we have several offers (Mini Discovery, First Timer & Refresher lessons) in order to reduce the “risk” as much as possible!
Is it possible to test one day to see If I am happy with it and then book the rest of the week?
Of course, but its highly risky as high season’s availabilities are restrained and we can neither pre-book a lesson nor guarantee you an instructor if you book last minute.
Should I not like the course, can I change into another course (for example from snowboard to ski course or to private lessons)?
Yes, depending on availability.
Which languages do the instructors speak?
Every instructor speaks English which is also the default language for group lessons. Depending on the instructor, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch are also possible.
Can I pay by credit card?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, AmericanExpress and cash (SFr and Euro notes)
Is the lift-pass included in the course?
Generally lift-tickets are NOT included, except for the beginner packages. The ski pass prices for the main ski resort are available here
Do beginners need a ski pass?
Where can I purchase a ski pass?
The ski pass can be purchased at the cash desks of the cable cars. The cash desks are located at the bottom of Crans, Montana and Violette’s gondolas and at each lifts of the Golf’s beginners area. We recommend to buy your tickets in advance online as you get considerable discounts. You can find the online shop here.
Is the equipment included in the ski course fee?
Except for the beginner’s package, equipment is NOT included in the course fee. It can be rented in the onsite sports shops.
Is there a ski rental at the Ski School or do you collaborate with a sports shop?
Enjoy the ride does not have a ski rental shop. There are several sports shops in Crans-Montana. We have a good cooperation with all of them, but there are no special reductions. Ask your host for possible reductions on ski rental fees.
