Terms And Conditions

Any reservation constitutes full and irrevocable acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1. BOOKINGS :
A) Lessons can be booked by email, by phone, through the website form, via WhatsApp, or directly with the instructor.
B) Prices include instruction provided by Enjoy the Ride instructors and exclude any other services not mentioned in the booking (such as lift passes, equipment rental, meals, or insurance).
C) The booking becomes firm and final upon receipt of the deposit.
2. PAYMENT :
A) A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than the last day of lessons.
B) Accepted payment methods:
- A specific payment link sent by the company
- Credit/debit card: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro
- Bank transfer
- Cash
- Twint
- Gift voucher
- Direct payment to the instructor
C) Online payments are made through a secure platform compliant with PCI DSS standards.
D) Foreign cheques are not accepted.

3. INSTRUCTORS :
All our instructors are qualified and hold a valid cantonal authorization to teach skiing or other snow sports.
4. LESSON CONDITIONS :
A) Lessons always take place unless specifically cancelled by the school.
B) In the event of a storm, lift closure, or any other exceptional circumstance preventing the practice of snow sports, private lessons will be postponed. If rescheduling is not possible, a transferable credit will be issued. Clients who do not visit Crans-Montana regularly will receive a full refund.
Please note: Snowfall, clouds, wind, or poor visibility are not considered storms.
C) Lesson duration includes waiting time and time spent riding lifts.
D) A lesson will not be rescheduled, refunded, or extended if the client arrives late at the meeting point or if the lesson cannot be completed due to circumstances attributable to the client.
E) Once a lesson has begun, the full amount is due, even if the client chooses to end it early for personal reasons (such as weather, fatigue, disagreement with the instructor, etc.).Â
A client’s personal impression or subjective assessment of the lesson, the level, or the instructor does not constitute valid grounds for refund or non-payment. Lessons are provided by qualified instructors in accordance with the school’s standards. In the event of an exceptional problem, clients are invited to immediately inform the office so that, whenever possible, a solution can be proposed for subsequent sessions.

5. CHANGES MADE BY THE CLIENT
We understand that your plans may change, and we always do our best to offer flexibility.
A) Up to 7 days before the first lesson, changes are possible free of charge, subject to availability.
B) Between 7 days and 72 hours in high season (Christmas/New Year, February, and Easter holidays) or 7 days and 48 hours in low season, changes remain possible with a fee equal to 20% of the original amount.
C) After this period (less than 72 hours in high season / 48 hours in low season), any change will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the terms of Article 6.
6. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT :
We strive to be as flexible as possible while protecting the availability of our instructors during busy periods.
A) No charge for cancellations made up to 7 days before the lesson start date.
B) For cancellations made between 7 days and 72 hours in high season, or 7 days and 48 hours in low season, 50% of the total amount is due.
C) For cancellations made less than 72 hours in high season or 48 hours in low season, as well as in case of a no-show, the full amount is due.

However, the full amount will be refunded in the following cases:

- Illness with a valid medical certificate from a local doctor
- Accident with a valid medical certificate from a local doctor
- Total closure of the ski area, natural disaster, or force majeure.
7. CANCELLATION OF COURSES BY ENJOY THE RIDE – ALPINE SPORTS SCHOOL
The school reserves the right to cancel a lesson in the following cases:
A) In case of injury or incapacity of the instructor preventing the lesson from taking place, the lesson will be fully refunded or compensated with a credit of the same value, at the client’s choice.
B) In case of force majeure or exceptional circumstances preventing the lesson from taking place for reasons beyond the school’s control (such as ski area closure, natural disaster, administrative restriction, etc.), the client will receive either a full refund or an equivalent credit, usable for a future booking.
8. LIABILITY:
A) Enjoy the Ride – Alpine Sports School cannot be held liable for any accidents occurring during or after lessons.
Snow sports involve inherent risks, and the decision to participate is entirely at the client’s own responsibility. Each participant must hold personal accident insurance coverage.
B) The school is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings (gloves, bags, poles, skis, etc.), nor for weather conditions or the state of the slopes.

9. DISPUTES:
In the event of a dispute, both parties will endeavor to resolve the matter amicably. Failing an agreement, the dispute shall be governed by Swiss law and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the canton of Valais.
