1. RESERVATIONS :

A) The lessons can be booked by mail, by phone, via our website or directly to the teacher.

B) The indicated prices include the teaching given by the instructors of Enjoy the ride and exclude all other services not mentioned in the reservation (ski pass, equipment, meals, insurance).

2. PAYMENT:

A) 50% of the lessons are cashed at the reservation. The rest of the amount must be paid at the latest on the last day of the course.

B) You have the possibility to pay by the following means
– Online via this website
– By credit/debit card: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro
– By bank transfer
– In cash
– Twint
– Gift voucher

3. TEACHERS :
All our instructors are trained and have a certification to teach snowsports or other sports with childern.

4. COURSE CONDITIONS :
A) Lessons are always held unless specifically announced by the school.

B) In case of storms, ski lift closures or other exceptional events that prevent the practice of a sport, private lessons are postponed. A transferable voucher will be given if the postponement is impossible.

ATTENTION: Snow, clouds, wind and poor visibility are not considered as storms.

C) Enjoy the ride – Alpine Sports School reserves the right to cancel a student’s participation in a class if the level indicated is incorrect and the course does not correspond to the student’s level.

D) The duration of the course includes waiting at the ski lifts and ascents.

E) Latecomers will not be waited for and will not be made up for the time lost. Lessons will not be rescheduled or refunded due to late arrival at the meeting point.

F) Group classes are held with a minimum of 3 registered participants. When the number of participants is not sufficient for the course of a class, Enjoy the ride reserves the right to reduce the duration of the lesson or to cancel the course.

G) The group lessons are given in French and in English.

H) The private lessons are dispensed in the requested language in the measure of the available monitor.

5. MODIFICATIONS MADE BY THE CLIENT
A reservation can be modified:

A) More than 48 hours and no charge before the start of the first class, depending on availability.
B) Less than 48 hours and during the stay, a 5% administration fee of the initial amount will be charged.

6. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT :

A) Any request for cancellation of a course will be considered and refunded according to the conditions below:

For group courses:

– More than 7 days, cancellation without charge.
– More than 48 hours, 10% of the total amount will be charged.
– Less than 48 hours, no refund will be made.

For private courses:

– More than 48 hours, no charge for cancellation
– More than 24 hours, 50% of the amount due will be charged
– Less than 24 hours, no refund will be made

However, all courses will be refunded in case of
– Illness with a valid medical certificate
– Accident with medical certificate
– Accident/breakdown/cancellation or delay of the means of transport, during the journey to the meeting place with proof
– Total closure of the ski area, natural disaster, force majeure
– Specificities linked to the COVID

7. CANCELLATION OF COURSES BY ENJOY THE RIDE – ALPINE SPORTS SCHOOL

A) Due to Covid19: The school commits to refund the lessons with a 10% deduction for administrative costs or to issue a voucher for the next season.

B) Due to injury of a teacher: the unilateral refund of the course is guaranteed with a discount voucher.

8. LIABILITY:

A) Enjoy the ride – Alpine Sports School declines all responsibility for accidents. Snow sports are considered as risky sports, it is the participants’ decision to practice them and therefore it is their responsibility to insure themselves in case of accident.

B) The school is not responsible for lost or stolen equipment (gloves, bags, poles, skis, etc. ….)

9. DISPUTES:
The parties will make every effort to resolve any difficulties amicably. Any problem should be addressed to the office. If an amicable agreement cannot be reached, only Swiss law will apply.

ADVICE TO PARENTS :

A) A good course is prepared. Adequate equipment and the child’s enthusiasm will contribute to the success of the course.

B) Prepare your child for ski school so that he/she will enjoy it.

C) Dress your child warmly. Gloves, proper equipment, goggles and sunscreen.

D) Wearing a helmet is highly recommended.

E) Your child must have a valid ski identification card.
