Everything you need to know before hitting the slopes. Can't find your answer? Just WhatsApp Rox.

Send Rox a WhatsApp message, an email, or use the request form on our website. Rox will get back to you personally to discuss dates, availability, and match you with the right instructor. Once everything is agreed, a 50% deposit confirms the booking. At least one day before the lesson, your instructor contacts you to check gear, conditions, and meeting point.

Prices depend on the duration and number of participants. Private lessons start at CHF 160 for 2 hours (1 person). We also offer mini discovery sessions for young children from CHF 60 per hour, group refresher courses, and seasonal coaching packages. All prices cover instruction only -- lift passes and gear rental are separate.

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the lesson. Between 7 days and 72 hours (high season) or 48 hours (low season), a 50% fee applies. After that, the full amount is due. Full refund is always given for medical reasons with a doctor's certificate, or if the ski area is completely closed.

Lessons take place in all weather conditions. Snow, clouds, wind, and poor visibility are normal mountain weather and not grounds for cancellation. Only in case of a storm or total lift closure will we postpone the lesson. If rescheduling is not possible, you receive a transferable credit or full refund.

Typical meeting points are at the Arnouvaz chairlift, Crans-Cry d'er gondola, Violettes/Barzettes gondola, or the beginner area at the Golf in Crans. Your instructor will confirm the exact meeting point when they contact you the day before your lesson.

No. You can rent skis, snowboard, boots, and helmets locally in Crans-Montana. We can recommend rental shops. For the First Timer Package, gear rental is included in the price.

From age 2 to any age. For very young children (2-4), we offer Mini Discovery sessions of 1 hour to gently introduce them to the snow -- it is all about having fun and building confidence. For adults, we teach complete beginners through to advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Yes. Our team speaks French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. When you request a lesson, let us know your preferred language and we will match you with the right instructor.

High season is typically December 20 - January 6, February school holidays, and Easter. During high season, we ask for a minimum of 3 consecutive morning sessions for private lessons. Afternoon sessions and low season are fully flexible.

Absolutely. While multi-day sessions allow for the most progress, single lessons are always welcome. Many of our clients book one lesson to get started and then decide to continue.

We offer semi-private lessons where we group clients of similar level when demand allows. We also run seasonal adult coaching on Sundays and First Timer Packages for groups of 3 or more. We keep groups small so everyone gets real attention.

Upps, our St. Bernard, leads guided walks through the snowy landscape. Kids get hot chocolate and a ride on a small sled pulled by Upps. Adults get hot chocolate too -- with a shot of something warming. It can be booked as a standalone experience or combined with ski lessons.

We are a small, family-run school. Rox personally handles every booking and your instructor contacts you the day before to prepare everything. We focus on fun, real progress, and making every guest feel at home. About 15 instructors, over 100 five-star Google reviews, and every lesson tailored to you.

Yes. When the snow melts, we offer private mountain bike lessons and guided rides through the Crans-Montana trail network. From gentle forest paths to technical singletrack, adapted to your level.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is paid on the last day of lessons. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), bank transfer, cash, Twint, and gift vouchers. You can also pay your instructor directly.

Most likely, yes – if the goal is fun rather than technique. At 2, children can't follow instructions for long, so our toddler sessions last 1 hour and are built around play: sliding, falling, getting up, laughing. The Mini Discovery (CHF 60, ages 2-4) is a one-time session to see how your child reacts to the snow. If they love it, Snow Cubs (ages 2-3) continues with regular private sessions. If not, no problem: try again next season.

All three are private lessons for young children. Mini Discovery (ages 2-4, 1 hour, CHF 60) is a single first contact with the snow. Snow Cubs (ages 2-3, 1 hour, CHF 80 in low season, CHF 90 in high season) are regular sessions for one toddler, to build comfort week after week. Snow Explorers (ages 4-5, 1.5 hours, CHF 120 / 135) is for children ready to gain independence on the slopes; up to 2 children share the price, with a small supplement for a 3rd or 4th.

Several thin layers instead of one thick jacket, waterproof trousers, mittens (easier than gloves for small hands), warm socks (one pair, not two), a helmet, ski goggles and sunscreen – at 1,500 m the sun is strong even in January. A small snack and a drink in a pocket help at the break. Skis, boots and helmets can be rented locally in Crans-Montana, and your instructor goes through the gear with you when they call the day before.

Yes. A private lesson takes up to 4 people, and the price covers 1-2 people with a small supplement for a 3rd and a 4th (for example CHF 160 for 2 hours in low season, +CHF 20 for a 3rd person, +CHF 10 for a 4th). It works best when everyone is at a similar level. Parents and children can also ski together in one lesson – tell Rox who is coming and she matches the right instructor.

It depends on your child. Group ski schools and kids clubs cost less per hour, and some children love learning with others. A private lesson is built entirely around one child's pace, mood and fears, which matters most for toddlers, shy children, or kids who had a bad first experience. We teach privately or in small semi-private groups of similar level, never in large groups, so every child gets the instructor's full attention.

Yes, often. Adult beginners start on gentle terrain such as the beginner area at the Golf in Crans, with a private instructor who adapts to their pace – no one is left at the back of a group. For three or more complete beginners there is the First Timer Package, with gear rental included. Most adults link their first turns within a few lessons.

Yes. Family MTB is a 2-hour ride (CHF 180) on trails we choose to keep children engaged without overwhelming them, with snack stops and viewpoints along the way. It runs from June to October, depending on the weather. Bring helmets, gloves and comfortable clothing; bikes can be rented locally and we help you arrange it.
